By this time, most of you have heard of AB60. Even though it is specifically designed for undocumented immigrants, DMV in San Diego has been telling applicants, who are here legally but with no proper document (such as those who applied for change of status or extension) that they cannot apply for an AB60 license while waiting for USCIS decision on their applications. This is their standard practice right now, until further notice.

ข่าวคืบหน้าแจ้งมาจากกรมขนส่งที่เมือง San Diego ว่า ทางกรมฯ บอกกับผู้สมัครหลายๆ คนที่อยู่ในประเทศนี้อย่างถูกกฎหมายแต่ไม่มีเอกสารยืนยัน (เช่นผู้ที่ยื่นใบสมัครขอเปลี่ยนสถานะ หรือผู้ที่ยื่นใบสมัครขออยู่ต่อ) ว่าคนเหล่านั้นไม่สามารถสมัครใบขับขี่ชนิดเอบี60 ในระหว่างที่รอคำตัดสินของ USCIS ได้   ทางกรมฯ จะไม่รับใบสมัครจนกว่าจะมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างอื่น
