All Embassies and Consulates Closed on 10/9/15

All embassies and consulates will be closed to the public on Friday, October 9, 2015 due to DOS Consular Global Systems Upgrades.

The Department of State has informed AILA that, due to a consular systems upgrade, consular operations at all embassies and consulates will be closed to the public on Friday, October 9, 2015. Posts will advise those who already have an appointment scheduled for that date that they will be contacted to reschedule. AILA expects individual posts to provide instructions on methods to request an emergency appointment. Additionally, Application Service Centers (ASCs) connected to certain posts may also experience closures. Please review individual post websites for additional information in coming days.
